While condemning the Raiwind terrorist attack, the Punjab Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leadership said that the Punjab government has failed to control the law and order situation in the province.
PTI Punjab General Secretary Yasmin Rashid said that the terrorist attack was the evidence of presence of terrorist in the province and the failure of Punjab government.
“This is all because of the anti-poor policies of the government in which government’s priority is to build flyovers and renovate roads and politicizing police by using the best police force in the protocol of the Sharif family and the ministers,” she said, adding that after confessing that there was nothing that ministry of water and power and PML-N can do for killing load shedding Khawaja Asif and Abid Sher Ali should resign.
She said that a minister responsible for his job was himself saying that the public should not expect anything from them and pray to God for rainfall meant that they were confessing that all the money that they have spent on these fake projects and the advertisements that they have given on TV were all lies. She said that the government had really increased only one thing and that was deception misery and inflation. She demanded that the prime minister should remove these two ministers as they have themselves admitted on media that they could not do anything about load shedding
PTI Punjab Information Secretary Andleeb Abbas said that the public was pushed to a corner by the electricity prices which had increased by 78 percent in a year and that was the highest increase recorded in the history of Pakistan. She said that according to the Pepco data the shortfall of electricity was almost 7000 megawatts while not a single megawatt of electricity had been added contrary to the claim of the government.
She said that the Nandi Pur scandal and the Guddu Muuch power plants had all closed down as due to corruption of the PML-N the cost of producing the unit was Rs 50 per unit. She said that the Independence Day Long March would be independence from this government constant violation deception and extreme abuse of public money for self promotion.
