CHAKWAL-

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif , implicitly referring to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan’s plan to hold a ‘tsunami march‘ on August 14, said that people would not be allowed to create unrest in the country on the Independence Day.

He was speaking in Chakwal after he laid the foundation of two projects worth Rs 9 million, including Chakwal-Sohawa Road and Chakwal-Rawalpindi. These projects are expected to be completed within 12-15 months.

Sharif said that others should be tendering their resignations and not him. He also added that the value of dollar had declined during his tenure but those who had promised to resign on that account had retracted their statements.

He said 26 power projects have been launched in KPK, Sindh, Balochistan and Punjab, under his government. The Prime Minister also gave approval for construction of 10 kilometer Northern Bypass.
