Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said the Punjab government has set up Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for IDPs with a sum of Rs 500 million and philanthropists and general public is donating generously towards this fund.
While presiding over a meeting to review the system of distribution of financial assistance among the displaced persons, the chief minister said that process of provision of financial assistance to the IDPs would be speedy and transparent. He said that besides providing financial assistance to the displaced persons, full cooperation would also be extended for their rehabilitation.
