Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri Monday rejected the democratic setup of the country, saying he could not agree with a system which deprived masses of their basic rights.

While speaking at Mazdoor Convention at Lahore’s Central Secretariat, Qadri said the Quran taught equal distribution of wealth which was also promised in Article 38 of the Constitution.

Qadri said he would fight for the labourers of the country to provide them a respectable living. He said after the revolution there would be a reasonable share for the labourers in factories as well. Qadri also criticised the privatisation agenda of the government which he said was equal to “bloodshed of labourers”.

The PAT chief urged the labourers to come forward and become part of historic revolution, which will bring prosperity in the country.

  1. yep…join and get killed for his cause so that this queen's boy can have a reason to launch political attacks against the government…Guys, he is not even a pakistani citizen or even a resident…wake up and tell him to shut up and stop looking for a back door to the power houses…He knows he will be rejected by people in the elections so, he wont even consider participating in elections However, he would love to throw out a political democratically elected party by hook or by crook. People who follow him should consider facts about this guy as to his sources of income, his tax return filing status, his loyalty..let's talk about that…who is he loyal to? The Queen…..because he took the oath of allegiance..and he cares about pakistan? really? come on, wake up. He is a hypocrite people…..
