PESHAWAR,
At least four people, including a terrorist, were killed in incidents of violence in Peshawar, officials said today.
Three family members were shot dead in Peshawar’s Yakatoot area where gunmen barged into a house and shot dead Iqbal Shah, his wife and daughter.Police said old enmity might be a reason behind the murders. Meanwhile, an alleged militant was killed in an encounter with police following an attack on check post in Bhana Mari area on Kohat Road.
Officials said the two accused were riding a motorbike opened fire on the check post. Police returned fire, killing an attacker while his accomplice managed to flee. Police later claimed to have recovered hand grenades, a pistol and a rifle from the attacker.
