A fundraising cricket match for internally displaced persons (IDPs) of North Waziristan Agency (NWA) would be held between Shahid Afridi-XI and Hamza Shahbaz-XI on July 18 at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, said Provincial Parliamentary Secretary for Sports and Youth Affairs Chaudhry Sarfaraz Afzal.
In a statement, he said Pakistan was passing through a critical time as it was accommodating hundreds of thousands of people displaced due to the ongoing operation launched against terrorists challenging writ of the state.
He urged Pinidities to actively participate in the fundraiser. He said objective of the friendly match was to generate funds for the brethren in distress and pay tribute to Pakistan Army fighting bravely and courageously to eliminate terrorists from the tribal areas.

no problem in helping idps by raising funds but do not send personnels to watch and shout in the stadium in this month of ramazan and at night of prayers, forcely
