A passenger van fell into a ravine near Kot Gila area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Battagram district on Tuesday killing 15 people.
Security teams reached the site and began shifting the victims to hospitals. The condition of three victims was reported as critical.
Eyewitnesses claimed that the fatal mishap took place when the driver of the van attempted to negotiate a sharp turn.
Pakistan has one of the world’s worst records for fatal traffic accidents, blamed on poor roads, badly maintained vehicles and reckless driving.
