Four new polio cases emerge, tally hits 92

Three new polio cases surfaced in the country on Monday, taking the total number of patients affected by the crippling disease this year to 91.

All three new cases emerged from Khyber Agency’s Tehsil Bara.

Those affected by the disease include five-year-old Sumbul, one-year-old Simran and Ibrahim.

One new polio case was reported from Sindh.

22 month old Rehamatullah, son of Gul Muhammad Brohi of Sanghar district in Sindh was tested positive for polio.

In 2013, 93 polio cases were reported from across the country.
