Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has convened a meeting of his party’s core committee in the capital on July 15.
According to sources, the committee will review the strategy and preparations for the PTI’s long march scheduled to be held in Islamabad on August 14. Khan will consult party leaders in connection with the demonstration, the sources added.
The meeting will also plan its reaction to the invitation extended by the government to the PTI chief to take part in Independence Day celebrations which will be hosted by the government on August 14.
