Cantonment Board Rawalpindi (CBR) has once again decided to shift cattle pens and factories outside Rawalpindi city.
CBR will launch operation at massive scale in this regard after the holy month of Ramazan.
CBR authorities are of the opinion that these cattle pens and factories are playing havoc with the environment of Cantt areas making the localities pollution tainted. The only way left for them is to shift these pens and factories outside the city to make Cantt areas green.
Homework to materialise this plan has been completed and the Cantt staff is committed to make all the areas pollution free through implementation of policy of cleansing cantonment related localities from pens and factories.
