Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) senior leader Jahangir Badar has clarified that his party did not sign any deal with former president General (r) Pervez Musharraf.

Clarifying the statement made by former prime minister and PPP Vice Chairman Yousuf Raza Gilani on Friday, Badar said PPP had not signed any deal with Musharraf. He said that former president Asif Ali Zardari had given two choices to General (r) Ashfaq Parvez Kayani that either Musharraf should resign or be prepared for impeachment.

Earlier, Gilani had said that former president Musharraf had resigned after striking a deal with the PPP and the PML-N was also a part of it.
