Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) spokesperson Shireen Mazari on Saturday said that the long march will be held on August 14 at every cost, adding, “We will not be deterred by government threats.”
She further argued that the “ugly tactics of the government can not waver us in our resolve. We will not seek permission for a long march. Protesting peacefully is our democratic right.”
According to her, the long march aims for the fortification of democracy, and the government referring detaining Imran Khan is a threat that they hopefully will not follow up on.
She cautioned if any hindrance is created on the way to the long march, the responsibility of any issue will fall on the government.
