National Assembly Opposition Leader Khursheed Shah said on Friday that his party had brought a revolution against a dictator and sent him home.
Talking to reporters at Sukkur airport, Shah said he was did not know who is behind the revolutionary agenda of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chairman Dr Tahirul Qadri.
The opposition leader said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan had the platform of the parliament so he should come in the assembly to discuss and debate instead of staging protests.
He said the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) had got the public’s mandate and should complete its full tenure, even though the government “did not deliver according to expectations”.
He said that after the meetings between Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Muttahida Qaumi Movement leaders, the PML-N and MQM relation had taken a turn for the better.
Shah alleged that Sindh was always neglected, which was why the 18th Amendment was passed.
The Opposition leader alleged that though the PM has visited Karachi several times before, the latter’s announcements regarding the city were never implemented.
