Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Pervez Khattak has strongly criticised the federal government and alleged that the center is not giving due rights to KP.
Addressing a press conference on Friday, Khattak said that despite the difficult situation in the province, the federal government has decided against giving due rights to KP.
He said that net hydel profit is the province’s right but the center is not ready to pay it. He said that the federal government has stopped the payment of Rs6 billion to the province as net hydel profit.
Khattak announced that a big protest rally against WAPDA would be held on July 16. He said that WAPDA officials have created problems for KP as the people of KP are blaming the provincial government for the unannounced loadshedding.
