If recent rumours are to be believed Hrithik Roshan will be paid Rs. 50 crore for Ashutosh Gowariker’s upcoming period romance Mohenjo Daro.
If these rumours are indeed true, then it has certainly raised a few eyebrows in the industry. If this deal goes ahead, Hrithik might very well become the highest paid actor in Bollywood beating top actors such as Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan and Akshay Kumar.
However people are left wondering as to how this astronomical fee would affect the rest of the movie, as the makers of Mohenjo Daro haven’t finalized the rest of the cast or even a studio.
Sources suggest that Ashutosh Gowariker’s period drama might very well become the most expensive film to be ever made in Bollywood.
The film is slated to go on floors in the coming months.
