Gary Oldman is reportedly in discussions with Millenium Films to join Kevin Costner in the cast of ‘Criminal’
The 56-year-old actor is negotiations to join Kevin Costner in the upcoming Millennium Films spy thriller, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Costner will take on the starring role in the movie, which centres on a dead CIA operatives memories, secrets and skills that are implanted into a dangerous prison inmate in hopes that he will stop a diabolical plot, while Oldman will appear as a CIA chief.
Ariel Vromen – who wrote and directed ‘The Iceman’ – will direct from a script written byDouglas Cook and David Weisberg.
Chris Bender, J.C. Spink and Kevin King will produce while Christa Campbell, Lati Grobman and Jason Bloom will take on the role of executive producers.
Oldman – who is repped by APA and manager Douglas Urbanski – is currently starring in the latest instalment of sci-fi franchise ‘Planet of the Apes’, ‘Dawn of the Planet of the Apes’.
He last appeared in ‘RoboCop’ and is set to star in soviet-era thriller ‘Child 44’ alongside Tom Hardyand Joel Kinnaman later this year.
