The State Bank of Pakistan issued a notification on Thursday that it will announce its monetary policy on July 19, a week later than previously announced.
According to the notification, the SBP bank official said that the SBP governor would announce the monetary policy through a press conference in Karachi. Earlier, the State Bank had announced that the governor would hold a press conference in Lahore on July 12 to unveil the monetary policy. The central bank did not give any reason for change in plans.
