Three gang war accused were killed in two separate alleged encounters in Karachi in the wee hours of Thursday.
The Lyari SSP said two gang war accused, identified as Majid alias Steel and Akhar, were killed in joint encounter with Rangers and police in Safi Lane area. He said both the accused belonged to Sheraz Comrade Group and they were wanted in kidnapping for ransom cases.
Police recovered arms and hand grenade from the custody of accused. On the other hand, SSP City Sheraz Nazir said a gang war accused was killed in Napier locality of Old City area. The accused has been identified as Kashif alia Mota and he belonged to Sohail Dada Group. He was involved in target killings and extortion.
