Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) on Tuesday sent Gullu Butt to jail on a six-day physical remand.
Butt, the baton-wielding man who had been caught on-camera damaging a number of vehicles outside the Minhaj-ul-Quran International (MQI) Secretariat in Model Town, was presented before Anti Terrorism Court.
The police sought 14-day physical remand of the accused, however, ATC granted six-day physical remand.
Two weeks earlier, the Magistrate Court sent Butt to jail on 14-day judicial remand but later the case was moved to ATC. The Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif had also issued orders for his arrest after watching the vandalism done by Butt captured in the news footage.
