At least 13 people including women and children fainted after consuming toxic ‘lassi’ in Tandlianwala precincts on Tuesday.
According to the police, a family, resident of Chak No 403 GB in Saddar Police jurisdiction, drank lassi during Sehri which caused them health concerns.
Resultantly, 12 family members including six children and three women fell unconscious.
The victims including Zulfiqar, Iqbal, Surriyah, Shamim, Azhar Hussain, Saim, Azan, Mehak, Iqbal Fazal and others were shifted to Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital where according to hospital sources condition of five affected people was critical.
