Three killed in police encounter, six separately

The police claimed to have killed three terrorists during an alleged encounter in SITE Area of the city early Tuesday morning.

According to police, the terrorists attacked police van and were killed in the retaliatory fire. The terrorists perished in the SITE area encounter have affiliation with outlawed group, police claimed. Police also seized arms and hand grenades from the possession of the militants.

FOUR KILLED IN SEPARATE INCIDENTS:

Four people were killed in separate incidents of violence in the city on Tuesday.

The body of a man, Javed, son of Jan Muhammed, was found in a drain in Ibrahim Hyderi, Korangi. It was taken to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for an autopsy.

Three unidentified men, aged between 30 and 35, were shot dead by unidentified assailants in SITE Area. The bodies were shifted to AbbasiShaheedHospital for medico-legal formalities.

TWO DIE AS TRUCK OVERTURNS:

Two people died while three were injured when a poultry truck met an accident near National Highway toll plaza.

According to rescue sources, the truck overturned after the driver lost control of his vehicle.

Rescue teams reached the spot after receiving information of the incident and shifted the deceased and wounded to JinnahHospital.

Separately, a woman was killed in a road accident near BalochColonyBridge.
