Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rashid said on Tuesday that long march announced by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) will be against the judiciary, election tribunals and Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
In a statement, the minister said that PTI should present its proposals before the Parliament rather than going for long march.
Responding to a joint press conference of the PTI and Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q), Rashid said, “Has (PTI Vice Chairman) Shah Mehmood Qureshi forgotten the 2002 elections?” He said it is not suitable that Qureshi protest about transparent elections along with the PML-Q.
