Damas, Pakistan’s leading jewellery and watch retailer, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Pink Ribbon Pakistan for a month long ramzan campaign to assist on Breast Cancer Awareness and announced its intention to contribute in the construction of state-of-the-art Pink Ribbon facility in Lahore. The MoU was signed by Zahid Chaudhry, Director Damas Jewellers and Omar Aftab, National Coordinator, Pink Ribbon Pakistan. Zahid Chaudhry, Director Damas Jewellers appreciated the role of Pink Ribbon Pakistan for creating awareness of the disease, which kills nearly 40,000 women every year in Pakistan. “This is a big social issue which needs immediate measures and we will use all our considerable resources for success of this campaign,” said Chaudhry.
