Due to possible influx of Internally Displaced People (IDPs) of North Waziristan towards Rawalpindi, door-to-door surveys have been initiated in residential areas.
In order to cope with the possibility of migration of IDPs to Rawalpindi, the police has started surveys to manage data of residential areas and started organizing reports on daily basis.
Property dealers have also been e directed to submit date of new tenements and new landlords in related police station of their respective areas.
All residents of each house are being checked and reports are presented to CPO.
