CDR to launch classes in two new colleges

College Directorate Rawalpindi (CDR) has decided to start first year and third year classes in two new boys’ colleges in Rawalpindi from September to ensure that maximum number of students get admission with the commencement of new academic year.

Government Boys Shahbaz Sharif Degree College Khiaban-e-Sirsyed and Government Boys Degree College Dhoke Sayyedan have been completed and first year and third classes will be launched from September this year. Funds have been released to purchase furniture and other necessary equipments in respect of these colleges.

At least 1,000 students will be provided admission into arts, science and computer subjects. With the announcement of result of FA/FSc examination the admission program for the third year classes will be started in the subjects of science and arts. The teachers for these two colleges will be selected during August.

Launching of these two new colleges will bring the tally of boys college in Rawalpindi to six.
