MIRANSHAH-
Pakistan Military jets on Saturday pounded five militant hideouts, killing scores of militant suspects in parts of North Waziristan Agency.
The hideouts were targeted in areas of Muhammadkhel, Poikhel and Daigan, according to sources.
According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), a huge amount of improvised explosive devices (IEDs) was recovered from different locations in Miranshah.
On Friday, a soldier, Niak Fiaz Mohammad, was martyred in an IED blast during a search operation in Miranshah.
So far, 20 soldiers have been martyred while more than 400 militants, including foreigners, have been killed in Operation Zarb-e-Azb which initiated on June 15.
At least 19 explosive-making factories have been discovered in different areas of NW’s main town of Miranshah.
