ISLAMABAD-
About three hundred million rupees have been distributed among 24,987 registered IDPs families from North Waziristan Agency so far.
Talking to Radio Pakistan, Director Fata Disaster Management Authority Farman Khilji saif that each IDP family is being given twelve thousand rupees as assistance in cash.
Similarly, twenty thousand rupees are also being given to each IDP family under Ramazan Package announced by Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif during his recent visit to Bannu, he added.
He said Eight hundred fifty-three families have been registered as fresh IDPs from North Waziristan Agency.
He said the number of IDPs families has risen to thirty-seven thousand seven hundred and fifty-seven.
All the internally displaced people are being provided necessary assistance, including food items and medicines, he added.
