The ruling party, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz has convinced estranged member and incumbent Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar to resume his political activities to end the propaganda by opposition parties that there are differences among the PML-N leadership.
According to reports, a PML-N delegation, comprising 30 parliamentarians met Nisar at the Punjab House Islamabad on Wednesday to enquire about his health and convinced him to start playing an active role as federal minister for interior and narcotics control.
The delegation included Zahid Hamid, Abid Sher Ali, Shiekh Aftab Ahmad, Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, Malik Ibrar and several others The delegation advised Nisar to amicably solve the differences with the party’s leadership.
According to sources, Nisar would soon meet Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. Nisar assured the delegation that he was not leaving the party and his dissociation with the PML-N was impossible.
