Militants blew up a primary school for boys on Saturday near Shabqadar area of Charsadda district.
A room and boundary wall of the school was destroyed in the explosion, which was heard five kilometres from the site.
Meanwhile, a blast occurred outside the house of a local businessman in Tauheedabad area of Peshawar on Saturday morning, partially damaging the house’s boundary wall and a nearby building.
According to the police, unidentified miscreants had planted an explosive near the wall of the house of Sakhi Nawroz.
Police have registered a case and started investigation.
