The Prime Minister House has refuted charges levelled by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, saying that the PM House’s daily expenses are around Rs1 million, rather than Rs 4 million.
According to a PM House spokesman, the annual budget of the PM House stood at Rs 457 million for fiscal year 2012-13, while the incumbent government has curtailed the budget to around Rs367 million for the current fiscal year.
The spokesman added that the PM House’s annual budget includes salaries of staff members, security expenses and expenses incurred to host domestic and foreign guests.
