- Teams set up for secret monitoring of government departments during Ramadan

Anti Corruption Department (ACD) Rawalpindi has decided to conduct secret monitoring of all government departments on complaints from citizens against grabbing of money from them by the government employees during the holy month of Ramadan in the name of Eidi.
Sources from ACD Rawalpindi said that corruption and corrupt practices rise in certain departments during the holy month of Ramadan. Some corrupt employees start Eidi campaign and commit robbery on the pockets of the citizens in the name of Eidi.
The ACD has decided to launch campaign against corrupt employees this Ramadan and Rawalpindi ACD Director Region Chaudhry Zulfiqar has constituted teams on this count which will carry out secret monitoring of the affairs of police department, revenue department and other departments. The teams will keep strict watch over the employees found involved in Eidi minting. The corrupt elements will be proceeded against under law. The secret teams will start functioning from first day of holy month of Ramadan.
