‘No-go areas will not be allowed in Punjab’

Punjab Law Minister Rana Mashood Thursday said that provincial government would not allow anybody to make no-go areas in Punjab.

Speaking to journalists, outspoken PLM-N leader said there is no place in the province which could be called no-go area adding that the government would not allow anyone including Tahirul Qadri to make such areas in heart of Lahore.

However, the minister said that on security basis re-installment of barrier outside Qadri residence could be considered.

Lashing out at member of proposed grand alliance, Rana said that Sheikh Rasheed, Chaudhry brothers and Qadri are so called political leader and are rejected by the people of this country.

He said Imran Khan is greedy for power and wanted to become prime minister added that people of KPK are fed up with PTI government for its bad governance.

The minister said that country is passing through its most critical and defining moments but politically orphan leaders are making alliance to destabilize the government and democracy in the country.

He said PML-N government would not stop any political activity which is allowed in the constitution but would handle with those with iron hands who would try to create chaos.
