Unidentified attackers riding a motorcycle threw a hand grenade at a police checkpost in the Sadiqabad area late on Wednesday night, injuring two passersby and a policeman.
According to police, the wounded cop was identified as police constable Nasir Mehmood and the wounded passersby were identified as Nabeel and Atiqur Rehman.
The checkpost was established only two days ago.
