Mobilink Foundation organized an activity in SOS hildren’s Village, Quetta where Mobilink Torchbearers (volunteers) spent a day with the socially displaced children. The initiative is part of Mobilink’s strategy to expand the outreach of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives for the year 2014 across Pakistan. More than 110 children from SOS Children Village spent a fun-filled day with Mobilink Torchbearers who introduced interactive activities to educate them. Mobilink Torchbearers engaged the children in storytelling, board games, cartoon viewing, character play for the SOS children and distributed giveaways amongst them. Omar Manzur Head of Corporate Communication, Mobilink commenting on the activity said, “Mobilink values community service as one of the most important part of our CSR activities. Spending a day with SOS Village, Quetta is a part of our strategy to provide assistance to deserving and marginalized social groups through volunteer work as a means to support and positively impact the communities that we operate in.”
