The information minister further said that the PAT workers called the police as terrorists but they were themselves terrorising the police, asking if this was the revolution that PAT wants in Pakistan.
He claimed that at least a 100 policemen had been wounded by the PAT workers who attacked them with sticks.
He also claimed that many policemen had fractured arms and legs as well as internal injuries.
On Monday, clashes broke out between the PAT workers and policemen when the latter refused to remove the barriers blocking Airport Road near Koral Chowk of Rawalpindi.
At least 120 people, including 45 policemen, were injured in the clashes.
