Operation Zarb-e-Azb: At least 15 suspects dead in airstrikes, locals claim seven were civilians

Pakistan Military jet pounded four suspected militant hideouts in Khyber Agency’s Meraban Koki Khel area, killing at least 10 suspected militants.

Local tribesmen claimed that at least the seven killed were civilians, including women and children in the airstrike that hit a house in Meraban Koki Khel which is part of the Jamrud Tehsil of Khyber.

The house reportedly belonged to a man named Wali Khan. He, his wife, three daughters and two sons were killed by the bombing, claimed the locals.

Also on Tuesday, at least five militants were killed during a clash with security forces in North Waziristan’s Mir Ali Tehsil and targeted airstrikes on militant hideouts in Koki Khel and Tirrah areas of Khyber Agency.
