- Government to pay between Rs 1.3m and Rs 2m per marla for acquisition of land for Metro Bus Project at Faizabad

The government will pay cost of land per marla ranging between Rs 1.3 million to Rs 2 million to the victims from whom the land has been acquired at Faizabad in connection with Rawalpindi-Islamabad Metro Bus Project (MBP).
RDA will issue notification for taking possession of seven kanals and three marlas of land within a day or two.
The RDA sources said Islamabad Assessment Committee met for assessing cost of Faizabad land which was to be acquired for MBP. The committee fixed the cost of land at the rate of Rs 2 million per marla on IJ Principal Road and Rs 1.3 million per marla located in distant area.
