- Security of infamous Gullu Butt beefed up in jail so as to protect him for inmates’ assault

The security of Gullu Butt, who got notoriety in the Model Town mayhem and was arrested, has been beefed up in the jail, officials said Tuesday.
According to the jail official, this step was carried out in connection with a possible attack on him by the inmates and leading to an untoward incident in the jail.
Meanwhile, Butt has been shifted to special cell and Assistant Superintendent has also been deployed for his security. It has been revealed that foodstuff served to Gullu was also checked. And on the occasion of his appearance before the court, he would be escorted by Elite Force.
