*Police recover 26 motorcycles in two weeks
Saddar Division police have recovered 26 stolen motorcycles and arrested four accused during the last fortnight.
Saddar SP Malik Awais constituted a police team led by Township circle SDPO which arrested two accused of a gang including ring leader, Shaukat and his accomplice Iqbal, when they were planning to commit another crime.
The police also recovered 16 stolen motorcycles, two pistols and other precious items from them.
The SP said that during the preliminary interrogation the accused have confessed 26 incidents in various areas of the city.
Ichhra police have arrested two alleged gangsters of Shaukat alias Shauki gang and recovered 10 stolen motorcycles and one pistol from their possession.
Accused Shaukat alias Shauki and his accomplice Muhammad Akram had confessed lifting of dozens motorcycles with the help of master key. They lifted motorcycles from different shopping centres and markets of different areas of the city.
