PAT chief alleges govt planning to send his plane back when he lands in Islamabad
Tehreek-e-Minhajul Quran chief Dr Tahirul Qadri has alleged that Sharif brothers had joined hands with world’s “most corrupt leaders” to prolong their time in power in Pakistan.
Addressing a press conference in London, Dr Qadri accused Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leadership of committing crimes “skillfully without leaving traces”.
“Sharif brothers have always shattered constitution and democratic values, committing state atrocities against peaceful citizens. Raiwind’s Sharifs abused and politicised public institutions for their vested interests. They left no state institution remain impartial.”
Dr Qadri continued the briefing saying, “Sharifs buy loyalties of election commission and election tribunals to rig elections and come into power.”
The Minhajul Quran cleric rejected Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah’s resignation as the sole person responsible for Model Town tragedy. He demanded Shahbaz to step down as chief minister. He alleged that Sharif brothers had involved their family members in every profitable project to make money. He said the PML-N had declared monarchy in the country making Pakistan as “Sharif Republic of Pakistan”.
Qadri also alleged that the government was conspiring to send his plane back.
The PAT chief said that he is not afraid of giving up his life and will come to Pakistan and fight for the cause of the masses. “No matter how hard the government tries to stop me, I will come to Pakistan,” he said.
He also claimed that efforts were underway to sow misunderstanding between him and the Pakistan Army. “We will not stop if the government stops us. However, if the army comes, we will cooperate,” Dr Qadri said.
