Meanwhile, Rangers and police teams have increased their patrol in the federal capital to ensure foolproof security following instructions by the Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Saturday.

The report released by the high court judge on August 8, 1990 declared Qadri as “liar and publicity hungry person”. He said under this verdict, Qadri did not fulfill articles 62 and 63 of the Constitution.

CHAUDHRY IS IN IT TOO:

Farooq said that when 50 citizens were shot dead on May 12, 2007 and nine lawyers were burnt alive in their chambers, former dictator Pervez Musharraf had described it as a demonstration of government’s power and had refused to hold a judicial investigation. He said Chaudhry brothers were central characters of this action while Qadri remained silent on this tragedy.

Contrary to that, in the democratic era, a judicial commission has been formed to bring to light all the facts and responsible people were punished. He said if need be, the chief minister has announced to personally appear before the commission.

The PML-N leader said Qadri-Chaudhry nexus was trying to give the impression of support to the Armed Forces while they were involved in the implementation of anti-Pakistan agenda through speculations and signals.

Farooq said to expose the “real face” of Qadri it was necessary to read the investigative report of the Lahore High Court, book of Muzaffar Warsi, and statements and columns of founder of Minhajul Quran Mufti Mohammad Khan Qadri and his former press secretary as well as hundreds of Ulema and journalists about his claims and dreams.

To a question, the PML-N leader said the security barriers at Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s H-180 Model Town residence were bulldozed in 1994 by the then chief minister Manzoor Ahmad Wattoo at 2am.

At that time Mian Nawaz Sharif, Mian Shahbaz Sharif, their father Mian Mohammad Sharif and hundreds of party workers were present but Mian Nawaz Sharif stopped the agitated workers from retaliation. He said certain elements who failed to reach the corridors of power with the backing of the people were considering the confidence of the people on judiciary, army and the elected leadership as their political death and were conspiring to make them controversial in the eyes of the people.
