Kohat police foiled a bid to smuggle 10 kilograms of hashish on Sunday and arrested three smugglers, including two women.
Receiving a tip-off, a team of Kohat police started snap checking of vehicles and recovered more than 10 kilograms of high quality hashish from an auto rickshaw.
The police arrested three smugglers, including two women, namely Jinnah and Hussanwala, hailing from Swat district and Safiullah, a resident of Peshawar.
During preliminary interrogation, the detainees said they were smuggling the drugs to Karachi.
Police have registered a case and started investigation.
