LAHORE
STAFF REPORT
Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah has that Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri neither accepted the constitution of the country nor democracy and therefore he would not be allowed to bulldoze the present system.
Talking to journalists outside the Punjab Assembly (PA) on Tuesday, Sanaullah alleged that Qadri was misguiding the people and using them for personal interests in the name of religion.
The law minister blamed that PAT chief had turned his Lahore residence into a ‘no-go area’ by deploying personal security. No one could be permitted to challenge the writ of the government, he added.
Sanaullah said that PML-N led provincial government admits the democratic right of people to protest and differ with the government’s policies but violence-based agitation and breach of law in the name of freedom of expression would not to be accepted at all.
He said that leaders of political and religious parties have made foolproof security arrangements for themselves but were forcing the masses coming on the street for their nefarious designs.
The law minister said that public gatherings could not be allowed in the wake of possible terror attack in response to the military action against terrorists in NWA as such meetings could be their soft targets.
To a question, Sanaullah said that security at the sensitive locations and installations across the country has been beefed up. Police, Rangers and Pak Army will guard the sensitive installations, he added.
Every word of the statement of this crook speaks volumes of how morally bankrupt this man is. It is pack of lies and 'twisted' facts.
This is yet another DANGER SIGN when students of a seminary are giving a BATTLE against the Law Enforcement Agencies in establishing WRIT OF THE STATE.
The people have not yet forgotten the wounds of LAL MASJID, where the seminary students were loaded with automatic weapons against the writ of the state. Incidently, that episode was also ignited by dubious Sheikh Rasheed aka Sheeda Tully.
