Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif held a meeting with Afghanistan’s ambassador to Pakistan Janan Mosazai on Wednesday, a private news channel reported.
According to reports, the two official discussed the on-going operation ‘Zarb-e-Azb’ in North Waziristan Agency along with other issues of mutual interests including measures to improve security along Pakistan-Afghanistan border.
Mosazai assured the COAS that Afghanistan would extend full cooperation to Pakistan in the operation against militants.
The meeting was held at General Headquarters in Rawalpindi.
