The capital city police on Monday beefed up security after army operation and intensified patrolling.
Operations DIG Rana Abdul Jabbar has directed all divisional SPs, DSPs and SHOs to enhance search operations and ensure strict checking at all entry and exit points in the city.
The DIG directed police officers to ensure a crackdown against suspects, security of important buildings, places and installations and maintain law and order. He also urged people to cooperate with police and inform them about suspicious things and persons to avoid any untoward situation.
