MULTAN-
A relative of Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Tassaduq Hussain Jillani was kidnapped by unidentified men on Monday from Multan, a private TV channel reported.
Police sources confirmed the abduction of Umer Jillani from Garden Town area while he was on his way to his office.
Umer is said to be an official of an intelligence agency.
The city has been put on alert while a search for the abductee is carried on.
Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has also taken notice of the incident and has issued directive to the the Regional Police Officer to keep him updated on the progress in the case and ensure that the abductee is recovered soon.
