The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Senator and former interior minister, Rehman Malik, urged for more security arrangements at airports.

Talking to media at the airport on Saturday, Malik said such attacks were not good for Pakistan’s reputation.

Answering a question, he said: “there should be a thorough investigation into the attack.” Malik also raised question about the Indian arms that were being used in Pakistan for terrorism.

Meanwhile, PPP leader Nafisa Shah said the federal government must take responsibility of the airport attack. She said that Karachi’s future seemed like that of Waziristan, Quetta and Peshawar.
