A terrorist involved in attacks on law enforcement agencies (LEAs) personnel and polio vaccination teams was arrested on Saturday.
According to a private TV channel, the accused, Zahidullah, was trying to flee the city hiding in a vegetable laden truck. The police and sensitive agency personnel on secret information launched snap checking of vehicles at Super Highway and arrested him. Police said Zahidullah was involved in attacks on UN vehicle, polio immunisation teams and LEA personnel. A few months ago, he was arrested over charges of attack on a foreign doctor but was later released on bail due to insufficient evidences against him.
