National Party member and MPA Balochistan Assembly Hendery Masih was killed on Saturday in an attack in Quetta, a private news channel reported.
According to the report, Hendri and his nephew were sprayed with bullets outside his residence by his personal guard.
They were rushed to a nearby hospital where Hendry succumbed to his injuries.
The provincial government’s spokesman Jan Mohammad Buledi confirmed the incident.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has condemned the attack and offered his condolence to the deceased MPA’s family.
