Sindh’s Information Minister Sharjeel Memon has scoffed at the federal interior minister for being incapacitated minister ‘for daytime only’.
While talking to journalists in Karachi, the provincial minister said: “Chaudhry Nisar Ahmad Khan never hesitates in applauding Taliban and none of PML-N leaders has ever called Taliban as terrorists directly,” he stated.
Tensions between the federal and provincial governments have flared up following the statement of interior minister putting all the responsibility of recent attack on Karachi Airport on a careless and indifferent provincial government for failing to respond to security threats despite six security alerts.
The Sindh government has responded with counter-charge maintaining that all the airports came under the jurisdiction of federal government, so did the security measures.
